Top Danish executives value PA’s seminar programme
PA’s Executive seminar programme in Demark has been steadily growing in the stature of their speakers and size of audience since the seminars started in 2002. Top executives from major Danish companies mix with government representatives and even members of the Danish Royal family.
Among the first seminar's guests this year will be HRH Prince Joachim, as patron of the charity CARE Denmark, which PA works with.
This year there are 11 breakfast seminars, with keynote speakers that include three ministers, six CEOs from Danish companies and two from large Scandinavian companies. All will be addressing issues arising from our main campaign themes for 2010, such as networked 'smart' technologies, delivering breakthrough innovations to market, and making your organisation clean and green.
The seminar programme is informal and no minutes are taken, which encourages open discussion. This is appreciated by our regular guests – representatives of large organizations in Denmark attend every seminar including Justitsministeriet, PFA Pension, Nordea, ATP, and DONG Energy.
The first seminar, on 24 February, takes the theme of 'Innovation and development in a knowledge-intensive business'. Steen Riisgaard, CEO of the successful publicly traded company Novozymes, will go into all parts of their process for developing new products in a knowledge-based company. More than ten percent of sales at Novozymes is spent on research and development – significantly above the average for Danish companies. Steen Riisgaard will discuss his approach to maintaining a flow of new products, and how to get bright ideas translated into concrete business initiatives.
