Jeremy Godfrey – Leading IT for Hong Kong
The Hong Kong government has announced that former PA partner Jeremy Godfrey has been named as Government Chief Information Officer. He took up the appointment in April 2008.
Jeremy worked at PA Hong Kong from 1998 to 2007, with particular expertise in the telecommunications sector in the Asia-Pacific region. Since November 2007 he has been working as an independent consultant.
Hong Kong's Secretary for the Civil Service, Denise Yue, said:
"Mr Godfrey possesses sound professional skills, solid working experience in the information and communications technology field and proven management abilities. I have every confidence that he will bring his wealth of knowledge to the work of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, and take a pro-active role in championing the development of ICT and e-government in Hong Kong."
